I am a ceramic artist and designer

Mihaly Munkacsy Elementary School

I’m exhibiting my newest collection /design-art pieces/ as a response to my friend, Peter Toth’s / Headmaster of Mihaly Munkacsy Elementary School / invitation, at Mihaly Munkacsy Elementary School, with the aim of bringing the “museum” to the kids, instead of bringing the kids to the gallery. This way an interaction with the pieces is inevitable, without intention.
I believe that this gesture brings art closer to them and will inspire them regarding to their future.
In their own environment, seeing the work every day, maybe a train of thought can start.
Opening: 15:00, 26/02/2015
Location: 10. Munkacsy Mihaly st.,Szekesfehervar /HU/
Speech by/Card Design: Eniko Orosz

FEJER COUNTY’S PROHIBITION / Fejer County’s Fall Exhibition

October 19th – November 15th, 2013.

The Fejer County’s Fall Exhibition with tradition of more than half a century’s, is staged every other year in Szekesfehervar or Dunaujvaros– this year it’s the latter’s turn. This fine- and applied arts salon is the most important meeting point of the county’s artists and professionals. As for the audience, it is the most grandiose opportunity to orient, as there isn’t anything else which would give as all-round perspective of the county’s art world’s current state.

Gambia, Gunjur

I have arrived to Gunjur, Gambia, on the 5th of July. Gambia is continental Afrika’s smallest, and one of the most poorest country.
Gunjur has around eleven thousand residents ( but I don’t really think so that anyone ever counted them). No electricity, no water nor other public utilities, however they have
proper GSM network and internet as well. So I only can document the happenings sporadically.
I came here as a volunteer. The plan was that I would have had to design some furniture for the local elementary school and I should have built up a ceramics studio.
But soon it became obvious that they have furniture and because of many reasons, they would not go any further with my layouts.
But they need the studio desperately.
With the photos above, I am attempting to showcase the process precisely. I hope it works!
